Share Golden Valley Farms

Real milk is not easy to find.

If you have found your way to Golden Valley Farms, you already know that.

What makes it harder is explaining it to someone else. A herd share is not something most people are familiar with, and trying to walk through how it works in the middle of a conversation can feel like a lot.

There is now a simple way to handle that.

A one-page sheet walks through exactly how a herd share works, how pickup works, and how to get started. It gives someone a clear path forward without you having to explain everything yourself.

You can download it, print it, send it by email, or order printed copies through FarmMatch to include with your regular pickup.

How Referrals Work

There are two ways a referral can count.

A Herd Share Referral

If someone:

  • completes a herd share application

  • lists your name on their application

  • completes their registration and makes their first monthly payment for a full share or greater

You receive:

1 extra half gallon of milk
(one-time reward, added to your regular pickup)

A FarmMatch Referral

If someone:

  • places their first FarmMatch order of $50 or more

  • lists your name on their FarmMatch application

You receive:

$5 FarmMatch credit
(one-time credit applied after the first qualifying order)

When Both Apply

If someone joins a herd share for a full share or greater and places their first FarmMatch order of $50 or more, both referral rewards can be earned.

That means you would receive:

  • 1 extra half gallon of milk (one-time)

  • $5 FarmMatch credit (one-time)

A Few Important Notes

  • The referring name must be listed at the time the application is submitted

  • A FarmMatch referral must be tied to the new member’s first qualifying order

  • FarmMatch orders must be $50 or more to qualify

  • A herd share must be a full share or greater to qualify

  • Each reward is issued one time per new customer

  • No swaps between reward types

  • The referral program is offered for limited periods throughout the year.
